If this scheme were to take affect the window industry would receive a much needed boost as previously cash strapped clients would have the opportunity to now afford new double glazed windows. The benefits are there for everyone as the home owner would see a difference in their heating bills. And a boost in work during these difficult financial times.
There are already companies around offering a “scrappage scheme” even though it has not been officially sanctioned by the government.
